The Final Year.
M5 has officially started.I begin my final year with the Medicine Student Internship Program, whereby students (finally) become part of the team and learn to be a Houseman. The thought of it thrills, yet scares me all at the same time.
This attachment will be a glimpse into the real world of doctoring. We can no longer hide behind the safety of white lab coats. Death IS very real. So is the fatigue. I wonder if I have the courage to handle the gravity of it all.
But I do know that I won't be in this battle alone. My batch mates will be fighting alongside with me and I believe we will fight it well. We have come this far after all the sweat and blood we've put into medical school. Now let us all make it through the final year together!
